~ Remove your makeup before a facial so there's more time to focus on other parts of the treatment.
~ Glycolic acid peels (derived from sugar cane), remove a very thin layer of the skin, which in turn promotes the growth of new, smoother skin. It is beneficial for skin that has sun-damage, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, acne scarring, and skin discoloration.
~ Diamond Microdermabrasion (non-crystal) is effective at improving and reducing fine lines, age spots or brown spots, enlarged pores, blackheads, and acne scarring. It also stimulates the creation of collagen and cell turnover. Immediately following a microdermabrasion session your skin will feel smoother and have improved texture.
~ Facials are recommended every 2-6 weeks depending on your skin type.
~ You can expect a slight dryness and flaky skin for a few days.
~ Do not use any exfoliating products for the next 24-hours.
~ Apply a daily moisturizer and sunscreen SPF 30 or higher and avoid sun exposure for 5 days.
~ Avoid touching your face.
~ Wash your makeup brushes to prevent bacteria on your face.
~ Wash your face soon after activities that cause you to sweat.
~ Wash your hair daily if your hair is oily and avoid heavy hair care products that contain a lot of oil.
~ Wash your pillows once a week and avoid fabric softeners which can irritate your skin.
~ Practice stress reduction and good nutrition.
